How This Course Can Help You Succeed
Research done time and again in the last decade has shown that candidate when trained in AHA certified BLS programmes become better equipped to handle emergencies, thereby significantly reducing morbidity and mortality load of hospitals and contribute to a better Healthcare ecosystem at large.
This one day program enriches the healthcare professionals to better handle emergencies. It is a video based program along with hands on experience on fully automated manikins which provides real time learning experience to the students. The course covers adult, child and infant CPR technique-one rescuer & two rescuer, use of pocket face mask, use of bag valve mask, use of Heimlich maneuver to relive choking etc
Our AHA certified instructors across India would be taking assessments for the same. A candidate appearing for the BLS exam is expected to secure an 84% of minimum marks to pass. If the candidate does not clear on first attempt he/ she would be remediated on same day.
About this Course
The BLS Course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED.
The BLS Instructor-led course teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both prehospital and in-facility environments, with a focus on High-Quality CPR and team dynamics. Trainees are also made to participate in simulated clinical scenarios and learning stations. They work with an AHA BLS Instructor to complete BLS skills practice and skills testing.
