Every relevant study underlines the shortages and skill gaps, which exist in various countries for skilled workers and hence there is a dire need for a structured skill development with a focus on Training for Overseas Placement. IL&FS Skills started conceptualising the entire trainee life cycle for overseas placement, which involved understanding of the standards and levels required to qualify for overseas placement. The entire skills value chain i.e placement linkages, certified trainers, training processes etc have been conceived and implemented from the beginning.

IL&FS Skills and Manpasand Manpower have come together to offer career opportunities to the students in various job roles in UAE

The government of India has entered into an agreement with the government of Japan to send skilled workers from India, to work in Japan for upto a period of 5 years. The workers shall work in the capacity of Technical Interns with Japanese companies, undergo technical internship training and earn during their tenure of internship

IL&FS Skills is empanelled by NSDC (National Skill Development Corporation) to send Technical Interns to Japan.

To qualify for the programme, Interns must have prior work experience in domain skills and shall be trained in Japanese language and culture.
